Alternative Credit Project

Credit to Kick Start Your CCD Program

If you have stopped out of college, the Alternative Credit Project (ACP) provides a pool of online courses that Community College of Denver (CCD) will accept towards your degree. A national program of American Council on Education, supported by a generous grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the ACP is designed to help you finish what you started—a two- or four-year degree, or a post-secondary certificate.

Even if you’re not ready to apply yet, CCD is here to help; we have staff on hand who have experience in helping students with prior learning assessment credit.

CCD Admission Overview

We would love to have you join our community. Applying for admission as a transfer student is relatively easy. If you attended CCD before, you may have a shorter path to readmission. Please see page four of the Admission & Enrollment guide for information regarding readmit or returning students.

We admit students year-round: fall, spring, and summer semesters. Students with college credits should submit official transcripts to Admissions, Registration & Records for transfer credit evaluation.

You may request your ACP transcript directly from the American Council on Education (ACE).
