Prepare for Your In-Person Visit to the Testing Center:

Safety Expectations:
  • Sneeze guards will be in place
  • Everyone on campus must wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status.
  • Limited personal items in the Testing Center.
  • Bring gallon-size plastic bags for personal items.
  • Practice general hygiene.
  • If you are not feeling well, please reschedule the test immediately.
  • All testing areas will be disinfected after each administration.
  • Practice social distancing.
  • Sanitize hands prior to entering the Testing Center
Testing Expectations:
  • Allowed items only: ID, Keys, turned-off cell phone, own pencils, and approved testing materials
  • Lockers will not be provided – plastic bags are to hold allowed items under the lab chair
  • Payments are accepted at the Testing Center
  • Sanitizing stations before and after test administrations
  • Be patient with our staff

About the Testing Center

The Community College of Denver Testing Center is the largest testing center in the Rocky Mountain Region.  With state-of-the-art facilities, the center is a proud participant in the National College Association National Proctoring Network and adheres to the National College Testing Association testing standards and guidelines.  The Testing Center provides in-person proctoring services for national, graduate, and professional certification, distance education examinations, as well as college assessments to CCD students and other examinees in a professional, secure, and accessible environment. 

The Testing Center is located on the Auraria Campus and supports teaching and learning by providing high-quality test administration and excellent customer service in a comfortable and secure testing environment. Please take your time to review the information provided, as we strive to give you only the information you need to succeed in your testing.

The CCD Testing Center's mission is to provide access and opportunities for individuals to reach academic, professional, and economic advancement in an inclusive environment.  The testing center fulfills its mission through the following five (5) tenants:

  2. Provide a secure and comfortable testing environment
  3. Support the mission of the college
  4. Adheres to the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Standards and Guidelines
  5. Maintain our status as an NCTA Certified Testing Center

Test Scheduling

Schedule your appointment 24 hours in advance if you are taking any of the following exams: Course Placement Test, Biology Challenge Test, Standard CCD Class Testing, CLEP, Foreign Placement Language Exam, Health Occupations Aptitude Examination (HOAE), TEAS and Critical Thinking, WorkKeys.
