Apply for Graduation
You are joining thousands of other CCD graduates, moving from students to alumni. Before you take this final step, you must apply to graduate. It is necessary to apply for graduation so that your diploma can be awarded and your transcript will show your degree or certificate. This is not the same as signing up to walk in the ceremony.
Eligibility, Records, and Requirements
Confirm acceptance into a program of study (major) at CCD. Check with your academic advisor or utilize Degree Check on CCDConnect to ensure you're on the right track.
15 credit hours for a degree or 25 percent of your certificate.
Minimum 60 credit hours for a degree; certificate requirements may vary.
Maintain a grade of "C" or better in each course.
Address any incomplete or satisfactory progress grades promptly; submit grade changes to the Office of Registration and Records within two weeks after the semester ends.
Confirm that the name on your diploma aligns with your current school records. If there's a change, submit a Change of Information Form to the Office of Registration and Records (Confluence Building, room 144).
If you have credits from a previous institution, ensure the Office of Registration and Records (Confluence Building, room 114) receives your official transcripts before submitting the Graduation Application Form.
Students seeking Credit for Prior Learning should complete all required paperwork with the Academic Advising and Student Success Center (Confluence Building, room 123).
Check the catalog for any unique requirements within your specific program of study.
