The Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) has partnered with CCD to offer training focusing on classroom teaching and online teaching. These trainings aim to increase teaching effectiveness and provide strategies that can be put to use immediately throughout the year.

This past year, eight faculty completed the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) Effective Teaching Practices course. The Teaching Learning Center congratulates our ACUE graduates. We will be celebrating this achievement at the March 17th ACUE Pinning Ceremony as part of CCD Conversation Day.

This 6-module course addresses practices from motivating students to using visualization tools that deepen learning and help students take greater ownership of their own learning.
This 6-module course provides faculty with practices to more actively engage students in varied learning formats, including group activities, discussions, and microlectures.
This 6-module course fully supports both instructors who are building a course from the ground up as well as those teaching a predesigned course.
This 7-module course provides faculty with practices to create an optimal environment to support learning.
