Educational Access Specialists assist you in identifying or redefining career goals. Advising is facilitated on the basis and can cover the following services: career inventories, vocational interests, academic skills, personal values, and individual preferences related to a career choice. Job and earnings outlook information may also be discussed.
EOC offers GED vouchers to assist students who have one or two tests left. If you are interested in learning more about GED vouchers or need assistance locating GED classes in the Denver Metro area, please contact our office at 303.352.8746. The Community College of Denver is no longer offering GED classes.

Our Educational Access Specialists will explain the financial aid process and assist you in completing the appropriate financial aid, scholarship, and loan applications. This includes information on the four student financial aid programs: grants, work-study, loans, and scholarships.

The EOC hosts workshops at our various sites across the metro area, as well as at the Auraria Campus in Denver. At Auraria, we partner with the CCD Resource Center, which also offers student workshops on an ongoing basis. Review the Student Success Workshop schedule. Workshop topics include digital literacy, career advising, educational financial literacy, scholarship searches, how to pick a major, and more. We are excited to roll out our Digital Library, which allows any individual to access our content from anywhere.
