English as a Second Language Classes
Classes are offered at three levels. You will be placed in a class level based on your reading test score.
|ESL Level A||Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.|
|ESL Level B||Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - Noon|
|ESL for Transitions||Mondays & Wednesdays, 4 - 7:00 p.m.|
High School Equivalency Diploma
FSI offers three levels of adult education classes to prepare for the official GED® or HiSET® tests. You will be placed in a class level based on your TABE placement test scores in reading and math.
|Adult Basic Education Level C||Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
|Adult Basic Education Level D||Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. - Noon or 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. - Noon or 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
|Adult Basic Education Level E||Mondays & Wednesdays, 9:00 a.m. - Noon or
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Learning Lab, TuneUps, Tutoring
FSI students can drop in to study on their own in our free Learning Lab on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. We encourage all FSI students to accelerate learning by attending our free workshops in reading, writing and math. One-on-one tutoring is available for students who have passed at least two of the official GED® or HiSET® tests.
