These programs are designed to provide a springboard into a rewarding career, whether it involves transfer into a four-year degree program or direct employment within the design community as an architectural technologist paraprofessional!

The Associate of Arts in Art Education requires study in the areas of studio art, art history, teacher education, and art education and prepare discerning and reflective professional educators for the professional field of teaching.

The ability to communicate effectively is valuable in any career and can set you apart in a crowded field of job applicants. In this program, you will learn communication strategies to utilize in personal, professional and public contexts.

Develop critical thinking and writing skills! Composition classes are required for students pursuing transfer coursework and help you complete writing assignments in all of your courses.

Industrial Design is a multifaceted field, featuring courses in textiles, bicycle design, furniture design, and prototyping with materials like metals, wood, and plastics, while also providing opportunities to collaborate with industry professionals.

You will learn how to be curious about the world by asking questions, why truth and ethics matter when reporting news stories and PR releases, and the technical skills of writing, video, photography, and audio for use in a variety of media platforms.

This program gives you a foundation in visual design. Learn to analyze, plan and create visual solutions to a variety of communication projects.

Learn to record and produce your own music. Take private instruction in piano, voice, guitar, songwriting and composition. Get hands on experience in our music lab and recording studio. Perform with our vocal and instrumental ensembles in the King Center Recital Hall.

Cultivate critical reading, writing, and thinking skills that will apply to an endless number of careers, including law, politics, government, business, science and education.

Gain direct, hands-on experience with production work and coursework in acting, technical theater, script analysis, playwriting, and stand-up comedy. This is a path to various careers in the performing arts, education, liberal arts, and humanities.
