Transgender Day of Remembrance

We are partnering with MSU’s Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy (GITA), UCD’s Women and Gender Center, The Phoenix Center, and the LGBTQ Student Resource Center to recognize Transgender Day of Remembrance at Auraria. This event will have free food! 

There will be two events:

• From 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. there will be a workshop titled, 'From Remembrance to Action', intended to give campus community members tools to be better allies and advocates for Trans communities. This will take place in the Tivoli Multicultural Lounge (Tivoli 261).
• From 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. there will be a restorative and relaxing Soirée, intended for Trans, Non-Binary, and gender-expansive folks who are seeking self and community care. This will take place in GITA (Boulder Creek 132).
