New Faculty Orientation Part 2 | Effective Teaching | August 28 - September 17

This is part two of New Faculty and Instructor Orientation for new part-time instructors.

It focuses on strategies for becoming an effective teacher. Topics include course goals and objectives, the first day, planning a lesson, higher levels of thought, test design and grading, assessment, and teaching and learning styles. 

This course training in a 100 percent online and requires weekly participation as well as completion of assignments by specific due dates.
