Calling all performers!

CCD Theatre is auditioning for our upcoming season, auditions are open to everyone.

La Gringa Auditions

August 29 & 30 | 5pm-7pm | CCD Studio Theatre

La Gringa is about a young woman’s search for her identity. Once Maria arrives in Puerto Rico, she realizes the island considers her an American, a gringa. Her uncle Manolo teaches her that identity isn’t based on definitions, but rather is an essence that she has had all along.

Please prepare a one-minute monologue and availability, and be prepared to read sides. 

House Improv Team Auditions

August 31 | 3pm-5pm | CCD Studio Theatre

CCD is starting a house improv team! If you’ve heard of Second City or Upright Citizens Brigade, then we want you! This team will rehearse regularly, learn long-form and improv foundations, and perform as a team!

Please bring availability, and be prepared to play with other improvisers! 

Evil Dead: The Musical Auditions

November 29 & 30 | 4pm-6pm | Rawls Courtyard Theater

Five college students go to an abandoned cabin in the woods and accidentally unleash an evil force that turns them all into demons. It's all up to Ash (a housewares employee turned demon-killing hero) and his trusty chainsaw to save the day. Blood flies. Limbs are dismembered. Demons tell bad jokes ... and all to music.

Please bring a prepared monologue and song.
