Become a CityHawk!
Picking a college is a major life decision. You are not alone in this process, as we have over 3,000 applicants a year. Among our student body are traditional students, veterans of various branches of the U.S. military, international students from over 40 countries, students who have transferred from other colleges and universities, as well as students who are not on campus but successfully taking classes online. We also have non-traditional students who are parents and adults enhancing their careers by finishing their GEDs or completing certificates and associate degrees so they can transfer to a four-year college or university to obtain bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
We are a campus of students both young and old who have come to CCD with a common purpose: to achieve our educational goals. In addition, we are uniquely located on the only college campus in the United States with three colleges sharing the classrooms and facilities, all within minutes of downtown Denver. This is a place of opportunity and you will be proud to become a CCD CityHawk!
Not ready yet to apply?
That’s ok! We recommend you start by setting up a campus tour, where you’ll meet with us and our student tour guides to get a better sense of what CCD can offer you.
Just taking a couple of classes at ccd to transfer to another college?
If you have borrowed student loans at another college, your student loan eligibility could be affected if you declare a degree and enroll at CCD as a transfer student. Your eligibility for subsidized loans can be impacted even if you don’t receive any financial aid at CCD. In order to avoid being charged interest on your current subsidized loans, we recommend you enroll at CCD as a “non-degree seeking” student. However, as a “non-degree seeking” student, you will not be eligible for financial aid at CCD.
Please contact the Financial Aid Office at 303.556.5503 or FinancialAid@ccd.edu if you have questions.
