Dr. Marielena DeSanctis has been selected to join the Colorado Business Roundtable (COBRT) Board of Directors, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished career in education and community leadership. Dr. DeSanctis is among other top professionals in the education, community, government, and business sectors leading the way for better economic opportunities for community members across the state of Colorado.

Community College of Denver (CCD) held its Commencement celebration for the graduating class of 2025 on the Auraria Campus on a warm, sunny Thursday on May 15, 2025. CCD had over 450 graduates participate in Commencement and over 3,000 attendees.

The 2025 cohort marks one of the largest in the Foundation’s 25-year history, reinforcing its continued commitment to creating debt-free pathways to higher education for high-achieving students with financial need.

In partnership with Metro State University Denver (MSU Denver), graduates can seamlessly transfer to a top 100 ranked public university to receive their Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design within two additional years. Through an inter-institutional agreement, students in this pathway will take industrial design courses at MSU Denver while maintaining their CCD enrollment status.
