The Colorado legislature created the Community College of Denver and Metropolitan State University of Denver with the transformative goal of providing a shared learning space for our community. With this goal in mind, CCD and MSU Denver should provide a seamless experience for students to earn associate degrees and certificates while moving toward bachelor’s degrees and beyond.
What our partnership aims to do is break down barriers to higher education and to empower students to transition seamlessly from CCD to MSU Denver, or vice versa.
We are advancing a commitment to create a shared system that aligns to each institutions’ distinct identities, which in part gives all students a seamless experience throughout their higher education journey. Whether a CityHawk or a Roadrunner, the type of bird would not matter, just that the journey would be much smoother.
