Making College Possible for All

100% Accepted into College. 70% Graduate Debt-Free.

Workers who earn a college certification earn 20% more on average and are more likely to be promoted. The return on an associate or bachelor degree is even stronger. The Community College of Denver (CCD) believes that anyone willing to put in the work deserves this opportunity to transform their future.

At half the cost of in-state universities and with robust financial aid, the majority of our students earn life-changing certificates and degrees and still graduate with $0 in debt—no need for a football scholarship. These students earn a return on their college education right away.

The math is simple: pay less, earn more. To transform your future, apply to CCD today.

A Pathway for Every Person

We are committed to making the Community College of Denver a place of learning for everyone, no matter their age or background. With 100+ program pathways to a degree or certificate, we’re ready to get you from here to wherever you want to go. Below is just a sample of the pathways available to our students.

Certificates and Associate’s Degrees

With 65 programs, from accounting to veterinary care, encompassing hundreds of certificates and degrees, students can embark on their new career path in anywhere from two weeks to two years.

Bachelor’s Degrees

CCD is one of the few community colleges in the state to offer bachelor’s degrees in health sciences, including a BAS in dental hygiene and a first-of-its-kind LPN-BSN bridge program for nurses.

Guaranteed Transfer Pathways

Our graduates can transfer to any public college and university in Colorado and apply their credits to an eligible 4-year program to earn any liberal arts or science associate's or bachelor’s degree.

Concurrent Enrollment for High Schoolers

Eligible students in high school are invited to take CCD courses to jumpstart their future. Course credit is transferable to all Colorado public colleges and counts toward high school graduation.

Continuing Education for Adults

Whether on campus or online, adults from all walks of life can pursue certificates and credentials, take individual classes for credit or to meet continuing education requirements, and so much more.

High School Diploma Program

Adults can earn their high school diploma at their own pace for a fee of only $50, which includes all tutoring and advising needed to succeed. Note: this is not a GED preparation class (it’s better).

A Vibrant Campus in the Heart of Denver

CCD is located on the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver, making it the only community college in the US to share a campus and other resources with two public universities: the University of Colorado and Metropolitan State University. With career pipelines into Denver’s business scene and close proximity to Denver’s cultural and recreational scene, there is no better campus to study, work, and play.
