About the Program

With continued education, internships, and hard work, you can become an economist, banker, teacher, lawyer, or any other number of interesting careers in the field of economics. Work in finance, government, law, or business. And even consider earning your MBA or law degree after you have completed a bachelor’s degree. Use the Associate of Arts degree with a designation in economics to get you to where you need to be.

The degree with designation at CCD is designed to prepare you for a university parallel degree and will give you a strong foundation to excel in a business or economic program at any four-year college or university. This degree is guaranteed to transfer to any public college or university in Colorado and is designed to enhance your mathematical, writing, and presentation skills. We’ve embedded strong business and economics-related tools and concepts into the program. In addition, you will possess the skills to be successful in an entry-level economics-related government or public service job.

CCD Online offers fully online certificates and degrees, and individual online courses to help match your busy schedule. This program offers 100 percent of its degree either online or through a hybrid program.

Your first step is to see if online learning is right for you. Online and hybrid environments offer much more flexibility but require more self-direction and self-discipline. Certain work habits, learning styles and skills contribute to a successful online or hybrid learning experience.
