CCD's Advanced Manufacturing Center is pleased to offer a variety of non-credit continuing education courses and offerings for the employer and resident community. Some courses are offered on a rotating basis depending on need and interest. We also offer Custom employer-based training as well. HEIDENHAIN Controllers provides technical training covering installation, programming, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming as well as general training for distributors and end-users. CCD’s Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC) is one of two U.S.-based official training sites for HEIDENHAIN Controllers.
This non-credit training is recommended for basic CNC operators, but anyone can attend, regardless of your prior experience (must be at least 18 years old).
Participants will receive an official certification from the HEIDENHAIN Corporation.
Objectives of the course: The course participants can create and test programs from workpiece drawings with HEIDENHAIN TNC controllers/controls (TNC 640 and iTNC530).
The cost is $700 per person. Participants are responsible for travel, meals, and lodging.
These week-long classes are held in March, May, August, and December.

Mastercam 2019 includes many new features and enhancements. This one-day, non-credit training is designed for anyone who has a basic understanding of Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machining. Take the next step into Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programming by attending this introductory course.
Taught by an experienced CNC machining instructor with ten years of hands-on Mastercam experience in machining prototyping. The training is held in the computer lab at the Community College of Denver's Advanced Manufacturing Center. Must be at least 18-years-old to attend.

Welding is one of the most sought-after skills employers are looking for in today’s competitive market. If you are a beginner looking to understand the basics, or you’re experienced and want to improve your welding skillset, you've come to the right place. These evening sessions are facilitated in an open-lab format. Our trained facilitators will get you started on a project that meets your needs. We also offer the option to prepare for and earn an American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 certification exam at our facility.

We offer wire Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) basic training for beginners. All training is on the Agie Charmilles Cut20p Wire EDM machine and led by our experienced wire EDM instructors at Community College of Denver.
This non-credit training is recommended for basic Computer Numerical Control (CNC) operators and machinists, but anyone can attend, regardless of prior experience (Must be at least 18-years-old to attend).
