Violence Prevention Education

The VPE program consists of a group of committed Auraria students who provide workshops on a variety of topics related to interpersonal violence (IPV). Workshops can be customized to run 60-90 minutes long so they can be easily implemented during a class period, staff meeting, or conference. They are interactive sessions that have a little lecture and intend to engage the students in the discussion of these difficult issues.

To learn more about specific workshop topics and how to schedule, visit our website at ThePCA.org or email us at info@thepca.org.

Awareness-Raising Programs

Along with our campus partners, we plan a variety of awareness-raising programs over the course of the academic year. In particular, we program around Domestic Violence Awareness Month (October), Stalking Awareness Month (January), and Sexual Assault Awareness Month (April).

These campaigns help to raise awareness of these issues and let survivors know that there is support available to them on campus.
