As a Hispanic-serving institution, CCD values diversity, equity, and inclusion. Dream.US is a program designed to support undocumented students who lack the necessary resources to pursue a college degree.

This fall, the CCD Foundation awarded a total of 235 scholarships, amounting to an impressive $270,000. The Foundation also welcomed several newly named scholarship donors, expanding the pool of resources available to support aspiring scholars.

Have you ever wondered what a doctor’s appointment on campus is like? There's no need to wonder because we’re going to walk you through it. The Health Center at Auraria (HCA), located in the center of campus in the Plaza building, is highly professional and a convenient way to see a doctor for an array of needs.

With the upcoming launch of the 2024-2025 FAFSA application, the financial aid process is about to become simpler and more accessible for students nationwide.

At the beginning of October, the Auraria Campus implemented a Secured Building Access Initiative. Let’s go on an adventure around campus to pinpoint the locations of the ID badge scanners to help for a smooth transition to the campus’ new “normal.”

During the months of July and August, Community College of Denver (CCD) and The College Tour, an Amazon Prime Video series hosted by Alex Boylan, collaborated to film a handful of exemplary students on both the Auraria and Lowry Campus.

On Thursday May 11, 2023, over 200 CCD graduates walked across the stage, quite literally taking the next step in their career and/or higher education journey.

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are shedding light on the matter with campus resources, events, and other avenues to seek help. Community College of Denver, the Auraria Campus, and the city of Denver have people and resources to help students whenever they’re ready.
