During the competition, students collaborated in the fields of Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Management & Operations to solve complex business cases. The experience provided participants with the valuable opportunity to network with peers from various institutions while gaining practical knowledge about real-world business challenges.

Ragan Communications and PR Daily has recognized Community College of Denver (CCD) as one of the “Top Places to Work in Communications for 2025". The exclusive award was granted to 59 companies and institutions, with big names such as The Home Depot and Carnival Cruise Line being among those.

Community College of Denver offers a flexible, affordable High School Diploma Program designed for adult learners to complete their education on their own terms, just like Jennifer Canete did.

Due to inclement weather and icy conditions in the early morning hours, all CCD campuses will open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, including Auraria Campus, Lowry, and Advanced Manufacturing Center (AMC).

Community colleges provide an affordable alternative to four-year universities. By completing the first two years of college at a community college, students can save thousands of dollars in tuition and fees.

Hosted by Claudia Garofalo, Dr. DeSanctis highlighted how community colleges are designed to serve everyone, emphasizing the inclusive and straightforward enrollment process that welcomes students from all walks of life.

Thanks to the generosity of individual donors, corporate sponsors, and community partners, $460,000 has been awarded to 300 CCD students this fall alone.

CCD President Dr. Marielena DeSanctis had the distinct honor of representing Community College of Denver at the White House for an event that brought together leaders from across the country to discuss building stronger connections between education and high-demand careers.
