Dr. Nick Taylor (Director) is an assistant professor of theatre arts at CCD. He holds a Ph.D. in Theatre Arts from the University of Oregon and bachelor’s and master’s from Virginia Tech. He also serves as the co-vice chair for Region VII of the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.
His research interests include integrating Web 2.0 technology into the college classroom and the political ramifications of the intersection of labor and love in work of Kentucky-born playwright Naomi Wallace. He works frequently throughout the Denver metro area and across the country as an actor, director, and voice coach. He serves of the Board of Directors for Phamaly, Denver’s own theatre company for individuals with disabilities and is an associate member of SDC, the stage director’s and choreographer’s union, as well as a member of VASTA, the Voice And Speech Trainer’s Association, as well as the London Psychogeographical Association.
