CCD Day of Service – April 22, 2026

Join us for CCD Day of Service, a campus‑wide volunteer event where students, staff, and faculty come together to support local organizations, strengthen community connections, and show what it means to be a CityHawk. This year’s event includes both on‑campus and off‑site volunteer opportunities.

Registration is required. Please RSVP by April 15, 2026.

On‑Campus Options

Sustainability Center – Campus Clean Up + Optional Art Making   Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Art making afterward) Location: Quad Side Tavern Patio, 900 Auraria Pkwy, Unit 240, Denver, CO

6 Minutes of Service (On Campus)   Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM A flexible, drop‑in service opportunity perfect for volunteers who want to contribute on campus.

Off‑Site Community Locations

City Park Clean Up – Cheesman Park   Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Location: Franklin St & 8th St, Denver, CO 80206

City Park Clean Up – Sloan’s Lake Park   Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Location: N Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80212

Bingo at Sunset Park Apartments (65+ and Disabled Residents)   Time: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Location: 1865 Larimer Street, Denver, CO 80202 Orientation: Zoom orientation required

Within One Week of Signing Up, You’ll Receive:

• Your assigned volunteer site
• Parking instructions
• Orientation details (day‑of or Zoom, depending on the site)
• Dress attire guidance
• Your Site Leader’s name and contact information

Volunteer Breakfast:   All participants are invited to enjoy a light breakfast in Confluence 105 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM. 

Bagels, coffee, and juice will be available. This is a great place to ask questions, meet other volunteers, and get ready for the day.
