Asking for help can feel awkward or intimidating, but support is an important part of success. This workshop helps students identify different types of support, explore barriers to asking for help, and practice ways to reach out for the support they need.
By the end of this workshop, students will be able to…
1. Identify common emotional and cognitive factors that contribute to procrastination
2. Apply at least one practical strategy to begin a task they have been avoiding
3. Develop a personalized “next step” plan for a current academic task
