Auraria Campus
Auraria Campus, CCD’s main location, is in the heart of Denver and within walking distance to downtown, Larimer Square, the 16th Street Mall, LoDo, the Denver Pavilions, Colorado Convention Center, and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Complex. The Auraria Campus is also just minutes away from each of the following: Sports Authority Field at Mile High, home of the Denver Broncos, Coors Field’s Colorado Rockies, Elitch Gardens, Downtown Aquarium, and the Ball Arena, which is home to NHL’s Colorado Avalanche, NBA’s Denver Nuggets, and NLL’s Colorado Mammoth, as well as a hub for concerts and other events throughout the year.

The Community College of Denver has a partnership with the Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC). AHEC is committed to providing an effective, comprehensive, and supportive environment, which facilitates the missions of the Auraria Campus Police Department (ACPD), Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver.
Satellite Locations
CCD has had a long history of providing off-campus learning and training opportunities. We currently teach credit and non-credit classes all over the city.
Advanced Manufacturing Center
Opened in 2015, the Advanced Manufacturing Center, AMC, is a state-of-the-art 33,280-square-foot facility located at directly north of the Regency Student Housing Community and only about four miles from the main Auraria campus. This facility hosts three trades programs: fabrication welding and machine technologies.

Lowry Campus
During the summer of 1999, CCD’s Center for Health Sciences moved to the Lowry Campus, bordering east Denver and west Aurora. Formerly Lowry Air Force Base, classrooms were renovated to house the health programs and the former base dental clinic was adapted for CCD’s Dental Hygiene program.
