In a groundbreaking initiative launched in mid-January, Community College of Denver (CCD) High School Connections has partnered with CCD's Excel Zone to introduce a transformative tutoring program at Colorado High School Charter.

Besides being the first Black woman to open a dispensary, Simply Pure, in the United States (along with her husband), Wanda helped pass the bill that legalized cannabis in Colorado, as well as managed two congressional campaigns for now Colorado Governor, Jared Polis, and served on former President Obama’s National Finance Committee.
