A Message from CCD President DeSanctis Regarding the Chauvin Trial

Dear CityHawks,

As the country prepares for the jury’s deliberation in the Derek Chauvin trial, we recognize the emotional toll that this court case has had on many of us. The verdict is sure to elicit a range of emotions from the members of our campus community. We empathize with our fellow CityHawks.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are cherished values at Community College of Denver (CCD). As an institution of learning, CCD will continue to build new understanding and reflective action in our community with representation from people with a diversity of views and experiences.
