CCD's award-winning Creative Services team takes home six awards at the NCMPR Regional Design competition.

You don't have to be on campus long before you start noticing the digital signs, posters, and art work designed by the Creative Services team.

Often colorful and vivid, the artwork throughout the year seizes to impress all on campus, even those who do not attend or work for CCD. It was no surprise to learn that CCD’s Creative Services department won five Medallion Design Awards from the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR), and took home the Silver Paragon Award for the 2014 poster advertising the CCD Theater Production of Love's Fire (first image below). The National Paragon Award recognizes outstanding achievement in communications at community & technical colleges and this year 250 colleges submitted more than 1,750 entries, making the win all that more impressive!

The Medallion Awards competition recognizes excellence in communications among two-year colleges within the western states of Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming. The 2014 Academic Catalog and the 2013 Haunted Harvest poster both won a gold award; the poster for the CCD Theater production of “Noises Off” won silver, and two bronze awards were earned for the “A Division in Progress” book and the "Love’s Fire” theater production.

If you haven't started noticing the artwork this team of CCD staff compiles throughout the year, maybe you'll start to see just how creative and amazingly brilliant these three ladies are.

Congratulations to our Creative Services team of Quynh Pham, Gretchen Occhionero, and Sue Samuelson!
