Professional Judgment Request

If there has been a reduction of income in a student's family or other financial impacts, there is an opportunity to have their award re-evaluated. The student can submit this form, along with all required documentation, to the Financial Aid Office to formally request that evaluation.

Please Note: For priority review, Professional Judgment requests must be submitted before each semester’s Census Date.  No requests will be reviewed after the student has either ceased attendance or the semester is over.

Professional Judgment requests can take up to 3 weeks to review and does not guarantee that additional financial aid can or will be granted.

To submit an Professional Judgement, log in to your Student Forms account and click the purple Manage Requests button in the upper-right corner of the page. Then, click the + (plus sign) button to create a new request. From the list of available forms, select Professional Judgement SAI Appeal for the appropriate financial aid year.
