Displaced Aurarian Scholarship
About This Scholarship
The Displaced Aurarian (DA) Scholarship program is designed to provide funds for tuition and fees for students who were residents of the Auraria neighborhood at the time the campus was first built between 1955 and 1973. The program also extends to the direct descendants of these residents.
The Displaced Aurarian Scholarship will cover the student’s share of tuition and fees for all Community College of Denver classes.
*Dependent upon the availability of funds.
To Qualify, You Must
- Provide proof that you are a direct descendent of a resident living in the Auraria neighborhood between 1955-1973.
- Provide documentation demonstrating the relationship to the Displaced Aurarian.

The Denver Public Library has developed an online Displaced Aurarian Scholarship Resource Guide. They can also provide assistance in person at the Central Library and online.
To be considered for the Displaced Aurarian Scholarship, students need to fill out the Tri-Institutional Scholarship Application.
