New Faculty Orientation Part 2: Sept 4-25

This is part 2 of New Faculty and Instructor Orientation for new part-time faculty.

It focuses on strategies for becoming an effective teacher. Topics include course goals and objectives, the first day, planning a lesson, higher levels of thought, test design and grading, assessment, and teaching and learning styles. 

This course is a 100% online training that requires weekly participation as well as completion of assignments by specific due dates. Participants must enroll by Sept. 4, 2017 and should plan to spend 1-2 hours per week in the course. The course will finish on Sept 25, 2017.
