Consumer credit scores range between 300–850 and represent a consumer's credit risk or the likelihood you will pay your bills on time. The higher the score, the better a borrower looks to potential creditors and lenders. Your score is based on a number of criteria including the number of open accounts, total levels of debt, repayment history and other factors.  We'll help to demystify your credit score and offer tips on how to best manage it.

Get information about CCD's scholarship process!  We'll review how to navigate CCD's scholarship application and provide tips on writing a strong scholarship essay. Learn about opportunities outside of CCD, and what to look for in legitimate private scholarship opportunities.

Is financial aid a mystery to you?  This Financial Aid 101 workshop will help clear the confusion.  We’ll cover the basics of how to apply, understanding and receiving your awards, avoiding pitfalls and so much more! Let CCD’s financial aid team help you feel more empowered tackling your financial aid.
