I Am Black History | Black World Conference

African American Women in the Race for the Vote!

Hosted by MSU Denver's Department of Africana Studies, the Black World Conference is the department's signature black history month event. In honor of the centennial of the 19th Amendment, the 2020 Black World Conference recognizes African American Women in their struggle for the vote, hence this year's theme: "African American Women in the Race for the Vote."

This event is free and open to the public.

All month long we're celebrating the contributions of African Americans throughout history. Check out the various events hosted on campus.
