The Academic and Career Experience (ACE) Scholarship Program

The Academic and Career Experience (ACE) Scholarship program will contribute to the national need for well-educated scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and technicians by supporting the retention and graduation of high-achieving, low-income students with demonstrated financial need at the Community College of Denver (CCD). Once selected for the program, students will receive scholarship funds in the amount of up to $2,500 per semester for a total of up to $10,000 over 4 semesters to complete an associate degree in a STEM field. Recognizing that scholarships alone cannot increase retention and graduation in STEM, this scholarship includes a number of enrichment activities that support students’ retention, success, career preparedness, graduation, and transfer. Examples include undergraduate research, advising, tutoring, mentoring, and leadership development.
