Summer Bridge Program
Summer Bridge 2022
August 1 - 11, 2022
Monday – Thursday | 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Summer Bridge (SB) 2022 is a two-week program, held prior to the start of the fall semester, where recent high school graduates and returning students can become (re)acquainted with the Community College of Denver (CCD) and higher education.
During these two weeks, participants will have the chance to meet, work with, and learn about the different departments at CCD crucial to a student’s experience and successful continuation. SB 2022 is online and engages different platforms to get you the information and resources you need to support academic success!
Workshop topics will include:
- Financial Aid – Ways to Pay for School
- SPARC- (lending library, student clubs, counseling, food pantry, etc.)
- CCD/ TRIO SSS Advising – Connecting with an Advisor, academic planning and guidance.
- Study Skills, Scholarships, Essay Writing, FAFSA application assistance, Tutoring and MORE!
- Career guidance, resume and cover letter, and so MUCH more

Minimum Requirements
Planning to graduate with an Associate degree and transfer to a four-year university, plus one of the following:
- U.S Citizen OR permanent Resident
- First Generation to college (neither of your parents have a four-year college degree in the U.S.)
- Low-income, OR an Accessibility Center Participant. You only need to meet ONE of these categories to be considered for our program
