Applying for Scholarships

Any student who has never taken a class at CCD or at any Colorado Community College School System (CCCS) in any form, including but not limited to online, concurrent, and/or ASCENT or does not have a CCCS student email address @student.cccs.edu. Follow the instructions below.

• If this is your first time and you have not created an account before, visit CCD's Scholarship Portal and click on the gray “Sign Up” button in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
• Enter your personal email address. This must be the same personal email address that you used on your CCD admissions applications.
• Create a unique password.
• Click on the gray “Sign Up” button.
• You will then be prompted to check your personal email for a confirmation link. This link will take you directly to the CCD scholarship application.
• Complete the application and your essay, and upload any required documents.
• Don’t worry if you do not finish all in one sitting, and you can click the “Save and Keep Editing” button to come back later.
• Once you are finished, electronically sign the application, including today’s date, and click the “Finish and Submit” button.
• Once your account has been created, the next time you log in, click on the orange Sign In button option. In order to access your account, please sign in using your @student.cccs.edu email address if you are registered for classes or have a CCCS student email (@student.cccs.edu). If you don’t have a student email address, enter your personal email used on your CCD admissions application.

Please note: Some students will have additional opportunities under the “Recommended Opportunities” tab. Here, you will see a list of additional scholarships. Click on the individual links to submit a separate application and any supplemental documents. If you don’t see any additional scholarships under “Recommended Opportunities,” you are already being considered for any CCD scholarship(s) you are eligible for.

If you are renewing your CCD scholarship application or if you have already created an account, visit CCD's Scholarship Portal and click on the orange “Sign In” button in the upper right–hand corner of the page.

• Enter your @student.cccs.edu email address.
• Enter your password.
