Although our priority deadline for scholarships for 2019-2020 has passed, it is not too late to apply for scholarships. Please apply at CCD.edu/Scholarships ASAP. Walk-in and essay help times are listed below.
SAP Workshops
Not quite sure what Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is? Plan on attending one of these workshops to learn what SAP is and how to properly complete your appeal in hopes of regaining your eligibility to receive financial aid. Don’t risk putting the rest of your education in jeopardy by passing up on this expert advice.

Any student who has a requirement of ‘ApealX’ on the financial aid requirements tab of CCDConnect is encouraged to attend this free workshop. New Student Orientation - Why It Benefits You!

College is an investment in which you need to prepare mentally, physically and financially. New Student Orientation (NSO) introduces you to ways that will help you get the most out of your time and energy.
- Get information about financial aid, campus resources, and community involvement, and get connected with staff and faculty.
- Meet with an academic advisor to build a strong foundation and build a first-semester schedule that is specific to your needs and degree pathway.
- NSO provides you with an opportunity to ask questions and receive the information you need to be successful at CCD.
- New Student Orientation is mandatory. So plan ahead and call to schedule today!
