Scholarship Application DO’S & DON’TS

  1. If you’re not sure when to start applying for scholarships for the upcoming year, the time would be NOW!!! All scholarships have different deadlines but the sooner you get on the process the better.
  2. Apply for scholarships in different categories, DON’T LIMIT YOURSELF!
  3. Stay organized and Keep deadlines in mind – Never wait until the deadline to submit your application. This leaves room to fix error should they occur.
  4. Don’t become discouraged if you do not receive the first scholarship you apply for. It’s important to keep in mind that this is kind of like a numbers game. The more scholarships you apply for, the better your chances are of winning.
