New Vice President of Enrollment Administration & Student Success
Community College of Denver is delighted to announce Dr. Kevin Williams as our new vice president of Enrollment Administration & Student Success. Kevin has over 16 years of experience in higher education and has held several positions in admissions and enrollment management at both the undergraduate and graduate level and has achieved much success in increasing enrollment and access to higher education.
In 2001, he began his career in higher education after he was hired by his alma mater, Morehouse College, as an admission recruiter. This career change fueled his passion for higher education.
After earning his Ph.D. in 2007 from Jackson State University, he served as director of admissions at Clark Atlanta University, dean of admissions at Morehouse College, dean of enrollment management and diversity at Mississippi Valley State University, vice president for enrollment management and student success at Talladega College, and most recently, vice provost for access and enrollment services at the University of the Virgin Islands.
Kevin completed the Hampton University Executive Leadership Program, the Harvard University Summer Institute on Admissions, and completed the 2013 Summer Fellow Program at Vanderbilt University Peabody College Higher Education Management Institute.
He brings a wealth of experience and accomplishments as a successful enrollment management professional and has a student-centered, student-first philosophy in his approach to leadership within higher education institutions.
