CityHawks,
I am writing to you today to provide an update on the latest public health guidelines from the City and County of Denver.
Yesterday, Denver moved to Level 3 Safer at Home health orders with new guidelines. Mayor Michael B. Hancock made an announcement in response to the increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in Denver.
Community College of Denver (CCD) has implemented health and safety protocols, including operating with reduced, in-person hours in various departments, to ensure our community’s safety. Here is how these new orders will impact our locations:
Our campus community has done an excellent job in keeping COVID under control at CCD and I thank you for your diligence.
While I know many of us are dealing with “COVID fatigue”, I encourage all of us to remain diligent and continue to follow all health and safety guidance, including wearing facial coverings, social distancing of at least 6-feet, and washing your hands.
Thank you for staying the course and remaining flexible as we find our way through these new health guidelines.
Please continue to check your student email or visit ccd.edu for the latest information.
Sincerely,
Everette
