COVID Safe Return to Campus Changes
COVID Updates & Return to Campus Information | June 2021
Effective Immediately
- It is no longer necessary to complete the COVID-19 Check-in Form.
- If you are fully vaccinated, you are no longer required to wear a mask.
- If you have not been vaccinated, you are strongly encouraged to wear a mask indoors.
- Social distancing protocols will continue in classrooms for the summer term but discontinued everywhere else.
Looking Ahead
- Classrooms will resume to pre-COVID capacity beginning in the fall term.
- Vaccine status is protected health information. Therefore, please refrain from asking fellow students and campus visitors about their vaccine status.
- Continue to always wear your CCD ID on campus.
- Continue to report COVID cases to your instructors and/or CCD staff.
- We will continue to sanitize following the report of positive cases according to CDC guidelines.
Return to Campus
- Most CCD offices/departments will return to in-person operations on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
- All student serving offices will be open Monday-Friday starting Tuesday, July 6.
