This new experience has also been very stressful and overwhelming at times, but there are resources such as the Lending Library that can help alleviate some of the financial struggles many of us face.
The Lending Library allows current CCD students to borrow textbooks for upcoming semesters. The textbooks are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are available in the Office of Student Life located in the Tivoli 309, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Even though the Lending Library may not have a textbook for every course it is still worth trying because it will save you from having to buy all the books that are required. It’s simple, all you have to do is bring your Student ID, Current Details Class Schedule, Billing Statement and the Title of the Book(s), Author Name, and the Necessary Edition Number when you go to pick your books up.
You must register online by the end of TODAY, May 25th and if you have any questions contact the Office of Student Life 303.556.2597.
We all know how expensive some of our books cost, so why not take advantage of this great opportunity and keep a little money in our pocket and spend a little less on the books we will most likely be only using for one semester anyway?
