CCD Community ESL Sign Up Form

 How does it work?

  • Sign Up (complete this form)
  • Placement Test 
  • Check Your Email for a Confirmation Request
  • Complete the C-ESL Enrollment Form (email) 
  • Sign your C-ESL Learning Agreement (email)
  • Attend Your First Class (Meet Instructors, Classmates, and Staff)
  • Study in your online classes 6 hours minimum each week (Burlington English)
  • Attend your live remote video classes 2 hours each week

NOTE: Please complete this sign-up form ONE time. This is not your enrollment form. We will email your enrollment documents the week before classes begin.


CCD follows state and county guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Classes are held in live remote video sessions each week with your instructor with 24/7 online learning. You must study a minimum of 6 hours outside of the video sessions.  Students must complete 40-60 hours of study to qualify for progress testing. 

Please note: CCD's Community English classes are for individuals who did not learn English as a child. If you grew up speaking English, please visit to learn about college English classes. You must be 17 years of age or older to participate in our Community ESL program.

Personal Information
Core skills include Grammar, Pronunciation, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Listening: Fall Terms start August (15 weeks), Spring Terms start January (15 weeks), Summer Terms start May (10 weeks). A summer English Intensive is available to high intermediate and advanced students. Your placement test score determines eligibility.

Classes start January (Spring), May (Summer), and August (Fall). Classes are subject to CDC, CCD, and Colorado guidelines for safety during the pandemic. All classes include two live video sessions each week plus 24/7 access to our online lessons. Instructors have regular office hours and are available in live video online using WebEx. Scholarships are limited to students who have financial need. A Community ESL scholarship application is required. Please select a payment option below or contact us for more information.
