There are several computer labs across the Auraria Campus for CCD students to work on your academics, study, research, and write papers. Use this guide to find your way around the computer labs on campus, and please contact the IT Department with any technical issues at 303.556.4283.
Academic Technology Center – Boulder Creek, Room 104

The Academic Technology Center (ATC) is available to any currently enrolled CCD student, with a student ID, providing free access to computers, printers, and the Internet. Some of the software applications provided are MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, DreamWeaver, Flash), and applications to produce Digital Stories (iMovie, Audacity, MovieMaker). In addition, there are staff members available to assist you with basic questions and some advanced assistance.
The ATC has PCs, Macs, printers, scanners, internet access, and the ability to save your documents to your student network drive. There are systems configured for accessibility with applications such as ZoomText, Jaws, and Dragon Dictate.
There is also space available for quiet and small group study. All students are welcome to bring your laptops, tablets, and other mobile devices to use the campus WiFi available in the ATC.
Other Important Information
- A CCD ID is required to check in and check out of the ATC.
- The ATC keeps track of the hours you spend in the center (some but not all students need a log of the time spent here for specific classes).
- The ATC can reset your password for the domain, but not for CCDConnect. Please contact IT Help Desk at 888.800.9198 for assistance.
- No tutoring is available; the Academic Technology Center is a place for work and study. For academic tutoring, please visit the Tutoring Center.
Auraria Campus Library | 1100 Lawrence Street
All students of CCD, Metro State, and CU are able to use the Auraria Library Computer Lab, located on the first level. There, the Tech Help Desk will provide you with support for printing and scanning, computer logons, microform machines, self-checkout machines, the collaborative workstation, basic tech help such as email, attachments and scanning, and using the wireless network. Call 303.556.6159 to learn more about the library hours and location.
Center for Health Sciences at Lowry | 1070 Alton Way, Building 849, Room 239

Students currently studying in the fields of Health Sciences have access to a computer lab with 11 computers on the Lowry Campus. To access, simply stop by and log in. Additional space is available if needed. Please call 303.365.8300 with questions or if you need help setting up a proctored exam.
Tutoring Center – 800 Curtis Street, Confluence Fourth Floor

Located on the fourth floor, the Tutoring Center has one general-use computer lab and one math computer lab (designated for math homework only). In addition, there are a limited number of computers available in the Writing, ESL, and student success centers.
