IC3 Digital Literacy Certification Prep

The IC3 certification (Internet Core Competency Certification) is a global benchmark for fundamental computer literacy showing you how to succeed in any environment that requires the use of computers, devices, or the Internet. Covering the fundamentals of the Internet, Windows 10 and Office 2016, you will learn concepts and skills that apply to almost any school or career pathway.

Facilitator | Jesse Brannen

Jesse Brannen is an assistant professor of computer information systems and information technology at Community College of Denver. He has industry experience as a help desk technician working phone and email channels, a reporting analyst, and data analytics specialist for medical research. In addition, he has also been a corporate trainer, tutor, and teaching assistant for many channels of delivery.

Jesse has a Master of Science in Management Information Systems and a Master of Public Health from Nova Southeastern University. He also has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Baker College. Jesse is also a proud graduate of Community College of Denver and is happy he can give back to the community.

Facilitator | Chris Bohnsak 

Chris Bohnsak is MOS certified in Word, Excel and Outlook. She has been teaching technology for more than 20 years at the community college level and within corporate America. As a corporate trainer, she has held classes for companies in Microsoft Office applications, including Barilla Group, Abbott Laboratories and Kraft Foods. Chris was also involved in Prentice Hall’s launch of Office 2013 instructor material, where she developed supplemental exercises and instructor’s solution guides.

Chris holds an MBA with a concentration in information systems from Roosevelt University. Her undergraduate degree is in business education from Northern Illinois University.
