- Math Basic Skills Assessment Test score of 55 or above, or completion of MAT 090 with a C grade or above is required.

Complete general education prerequisites with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.

Science courses must show cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.

Courses not completed by the date of application will be averaged in as a "0" into your GPA.

Courses not completed by the date of application must be completed by the end of spring semester. Proof that the student is enrolled in the course for the spring semester must be sent in along with the application.

Proof of successful completion of these courses must be submitted to the CCD Dental Hygiene program at the end of each semester in which they are taken. An official, final transcript must be forwarded to the CCD Dental Hygiene program as soon as it becomes available.

All science requirements are good to within 7 years of beginning the program.

Basic computer skills are neccessary, including e-mail, internet, Power Point and word processing.

Ready access to a computer is mandatory as instructors correspond via email and post notes on Vista.
