The Dental Hygiene Program at Community College of Denver holds a fully accredited status as issued by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association; this is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the Council on Post-secondary Accreditation and the United States Department of Education. Accreditation of specialized professional and occupational schools, such as dental hygiene, is undertaken primarily to provide the public with assurance of the quality of the educational preparation of that profession's members.
