Community College of Denver's Veterinary Technology Program is one of the best buys for your money. At a cost of $77 per credit hour tuition, the 5 semester program costs approximately $6,500.
Financial Aid is available. To avoid disappointment, you are strongly encouraged to apply one semester in advance of enrollment.

Facilities on-site are excellent:
The CCD Veterinary Technology Program is located at the Health Sciences Center on the Lowry campus. The Veterinary Program has a designated classroom and a designated lab that includes all modern lab equipment. In addition, we have a state-of-the-art hands-on surgical facility where the students assist in dentals, spays and neuters. There is also a computer lab that will facilitate 15 students at a time.

Opportunities off-site are extraordinary:
Community College of Denver's Veterinary Technology Program provides clinical internship experiences. CCD veterinary students rotate to local area clinics and shelters for clinical internships. Some of the clinical affiliates are University of Colorado Health and Science Center, Alameda East Veterinary Hospital, Deer Creek Animal Hospital, Harrison Memorial Animal Hospital, Douglas County Animal Hospital, Evergreen Veterinary Hospital, Maxfund Animal Shelter, Colorado Humane Society, Denver Municipal Animal Shelter, Friends of Horses, Horse Protection League and Idexx Veterinary Services just to name a few.
