Step 1: Apply

If you are not a continuing student at CCD, you will need to fill out an application to CCD.

IMPORTANT: The online application will ask application type: New First Time Student, Transfer Student and Re-admit.  Make sure you choose the correct type so not to duplicate Student ID's. If it has been two or more semesters since you attended CCD, you will need to fill out an application for admission (make sure you select Re-admit).

Step 2: Apply To The College Opportunity Fund (COF)

Sign up for the College Opportunity Fund (COF) now! All students who are residents of Colorado (need to apply for COF once and make sure to authorize it each semester) and want to enroll must sign up for COF each semester, which will pay a portion of your total in-state tuition. You only sign up online at College Opportunity Fund

IMPORTANT: You must authorize your COF every semester at CCD when you register for classes in your student account, MyED on the “Add/Drop” page.

Step 3: Take Basic Skills Assessment Test

Go to the CCD Testing Center to take the basic skills assessment test.  You may not have to take the test if you have prior college experience or adequate ACT/SAT scores; bring in the document to the Testing Center for them to be evaluated. If you have any questions, contact the Testing Center in South Classroom 223 at 303-556-3810.

Step 4: Schedule An Advisement Appointment

Meet your Auraria advisor or branch campus case manager.  They will give you your Personal Identification Number (PIN) that you need to log into your student account, MyEd, to register for classes. You’ll meet with your advisor to review your assessment scores, to declare a major, if you need help because English isn’t your first language, need special physical or learning accommodations or other student services.  If you have any questions, contact Educational Planning & Advising Center (EPAC) in South Classroom 134 at 303-556-2481.

Step 5: Register for Classes

Register early to get the classes you want!  Early registration begins two months before the semester begins. You can register in your student account online, MyEd, in person at Enrollment Services in South Classroom 133 or at the branch campus you are attending.  You may access Enrollment Quick Guides.  These guides will give you step-by-step instructions on various enrollment services.  If you have questions, please contact Admissions, Registration and Records in South Classroom 133 at 303-556-2420.
