Do I need to make an appointment? Yes. If possible, schedule an appointment at least one week in advance. To schedule an appointment, call 303.352.3085. Payment must be made at the time of making the appointment and is non refundable (cash, check, or credit card - Visa & MC).
How much does it cost ? The complete package is $45 ($40 for current Denver Public School paraprofessionals). The complete package includes Reading, Business Writing, and Applied Math.

Test descriptions?
- The Reading for Information assessment measures a person's skill in reading and using work-related information including instructions, policies, memos, bulletins, notices, letters, manuals, and governmental regulations (33 multiple choice questions / 55 minutes).
- The Applied Mathematics assessment measures a person's skill in using mathematical reasoning to solve work-related problems (33 multiple choice questions / 55 minutes).
- The Business Writing test measures the skills individuals use when they write a response to a work-related situation (33 minutes).
- The ISI (Instructional Support Inventory) is a computer-delivered, performance-based assessment which is filled out by a knowledgeable observer and includes a demonstration of competence in teaching (pedagogical) methods. ( Currently not required by Denver Public Schools )
Note : Performance levels will be established by individual schools, districts, and state education agencies. DPS has established the following minimum scores: Level 4 for Reading for Information, Level 4 for Applied Mathematics, and Level 3 for Business Writing.
