Are you unsure which Spanish or French course to take?   Then take the Spanish or French assessment test in the CCD Testing Center !

• There is no fee to take either the Spanish or French test.
• The test is not timed, and takes about 30 minutes to complete.
• Because the test is administered on computer, the results are immediate!

If you already know some Spanish or French and are unsure which course would be best to start with, this assessment can help determine your skill level.   This test only helps you to be placed in the right level; it does not give credit for language classes.   If you are already proficient in a language, consider taking the CLEP test to get college credit.

SPANISH CLASSES:                                                             
SPA 111 First-Year Spanish I                                    
SPA 112 First-Year Spanish II                   
SPA 211 Second-Year Spanish I                               
SPA 212 Second-Year Spanish II                                         

FRENCH CLASSES:
FRE 111 First-Year French I
FRE 112 First-Year French II
FRE 211 Second-Year French I
FRE 212 Second-Year French II

SPECIAL NOTES:

• Bring Picture I.D. - you will not be permitted to test without proper identification.
• Please adhere to our hours, and allow sufficient time to take your test.
• Testing is done on a walk-in, first-come, first-serve basis between the hours mentioned above.   Although we expect to be able to accommodate you at any time, it is possible you could have a short wait if space is unavailable.
• No food or drink is allowed in the Testing Center .
• Under no circumstances can children younger than 12 years of age be allowed in the Testing Center or left unattended in the hallway.
• All cell-phones and beepers must be turned off upon entering the Testing Center .
• This schedule may change during the break between semesters.   Please call during these times before coming to test.
