When is this test given?
Tests are given on a walk-in basis at the following times:
MONDAY 10 AM
TUESDAY 10 AM and 4 PM
WEDNESDAY 10 AM and 4 PM
THURSDAY 10 AM
FRIDAY 10 AM
What is the Testing Fee?
A $30.00 fee for the NET test must be paid at the time of the test. We accept credit card, check or cash at CCD. You must pay this fee at the Cashier’s office (303-556-2075), SO 136, prior to coming to the Testing Center. Be sure to bring your receipt. This fee is non-refundable.
What should I bring to the test?
All you need to bring is a valid government issued picture I.D. that also has your signature on it. You are not permitted to use any aids during the test, i.e., books, notes, dictionaries, calculators, et cetera.
How long is the test?
This test is approximately 3 hours. All six parts must be completed in one sitting in order to receive scores and be considered for admission.
When will I get my results?
A recommendation will be given at the completion of the test. Score results will be used for evaluation of the student's progress.
What material is covered on the test?
The NET (Nurse Entrance Test) is a computer based timed test consisting of six sections:
Math Skills: (60 Questions, 60 Minutes)
Reading Comprehension: (33 Questions, 40 Minutes)
Basic Science: (15 Questions, 15 Minutes)
Stress Situations: (50 Questions, 12 Minutes)
Learning Styles: (35 Questions, 20 Minutes)
Test Taking Skills: (30 Questions, 20 Minutes)

Where is the CCD Testing Center?
We are located on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver. The CCD Testing Center is located in the South Classroom Building on the second floor in Room 223. You may park in the Tivoli Parking Lot (G) off of 9th Street and Auraria Parkway. Bring your parking ticket with you to be validated. The RTD Light Rail (D- Line) also stops at Auraria Campus on Colfax near the South Classroom Building.
